Viktoria is a Boston-based humor writer and an editor at Slackjaw. She grew up in Brooklyn, which makes her perpetually cool. You can find her work in The New Yorker, McSweeney's, The Los Angeles Times, WBUR’s Cognoscenti, and other excellent publications.

Viktoria is a creative writing judge for the annual Bow Seat Ocean Awareness Contest. She was selected for St. Nell’s Humor Writing Residencyin 2023. She has performed in multiple humor reading shows, including Slackjaw: LIVE at Caveat NYC, Wit and Word, and GrubStreet’sLit Up fundraiser. She was also a guest on The Belladonna Editrixpodcast. Viktoria’s writing has been featured in A Newsletter of Humorous Writing and on multiple Best of the Year humor publication lists.

Viktoria has a degree in Mass Communication from Boston University and studied writing at The Second City and GrubStreet. She enjoys hiking, kitesurfing, and having a dog.
